Windy and cold.
Day one in San Francisco
We started our day by going to get coffee at Sight Glass. Afterwards we drove down to the Marina for some free parking and just relaxed there a bit before walking around to gonna a grocery store and get more coffee at Wrecking Ball.
We walked back to the car and decided to go out to dinner because it was our anniversary, so Ryker found a restaurant called Mac Daddy that does different kinds of mac and cheese!
After dinner we drove back to our camp spot for the night. We wanted to just chill for our first day in the city.
Day two in San Francisco
We started day two by heading back to the Marina to make some pancakes and drop off the van.
After breakfast we walked down to the bus stop and took the Muni to downtown to get some coffee at Scullery before walking down to Ghirardelli square to explore a bit.
After seeing the shops and getting some free samples of chocolate, we walked down to Fisherman’s Wharf. We got lunch at Chipotle and walked along the water for a while and watched the seals on the docks.
We walked around for a few hours before catching the Muni back to the Marina to get the van and head back to our camp spot for the night.
Day three in San Francisco
This morning we started off by getting some coffee (big shocker there) at Saint Frank before taking advantage of free meters on sundays and going to explore downtown.
We spent majority of the day walking around downtown and seeing all the shops and walking though the four story mall before heading back to the Marina to make sandwiches and watch some shows on Netflix before heading back to our campsite for bed.
Day four in San Francisco
We wanted to spend our last day in SF by exploring Haight Ashbury area.
We started with coffee from Ritual before heading out to explore the little part of town.
We spent the rest of our day walking around Golden Gate Park, seeing the rose garden and the Bison Paddock. After a few hours we decided to head back to the Marina to make dinner before going to our campsite to sleep in preparation for our seven hour drive day the next day.
