Pittsburgh

It's a place.. with so many tolls

We left Chicago pretty early to embark on our 7 hour drive to Pittsburgh. Chicago had a lot of toll roads and so did Indiana but oh my gosh, Ohio was the worst. They charge by height, so because of our roof box it assumed we were a semi truck and charged us a $20 toll. So stupid.. other than that pretty uneventful drive. We got to town and went to a Planet Fitness just to find out it wasn't an open location yet, so we drove to the other side of the city to another one. So we showered and then slept at a WalMart. (Countdown T minus 11 days until we are in Raleigh and have an actual home to be in. Really starting to look forward to that)

Only day in Pittsburgh

We woke up kinda early today and did a good clean of the van, it tends to get pretty messy after long drive days. We had to clean up a lot of trash, put all our laundry away that we did in Chicago, and actually fold the bed up (doing that definitely makes the space look a lot cleaner than it is). After cleaning, we went to get coffee at 4121 Main. It was okay, nothing to crazy. We hung out there for a while, working on our budget and what not for the rest of the trip.

After coffee we went thrift shopping for a few hours. We went to two different GoodWills and a Salvation Army Superstore. Then we went to see a movie at the "luxury theater". We saw the new Joker movie. The theater had the recliner seats and we were the only people in our movie! I hated the movie but Ryker liked it, he really likes the joker character. I thought it was a little to gorey and dark for my taste. After the movie we parked back up at the Walmart for the night and went to bed.
