Chicago

"Thin crust pizza, no thank you! I'm from Chicago!" -Nick Miller

Day one in Chicago

We went to Planet Fitness to shower before hitting the road to Chicago from Madison. After about 3 hours we made it to downtown. We stopped for coffee at Dark Matter and hung out there for a few hours.

After a while there, we went to our friends Joseph and Yogi's apartment for dinner and "sick hangs". We just spent the night catching up before sleeping over there.

Day two in Chicago

We started our tour of the city with Joseph and Yogi by getting breakfast at Dollop Diner. Then we walked the streets of Andersonville for a bit before heading to our next adventure. We then went downtown and got lunch at Popeyes and then walked to Millennium Park to see the famous Chicago Bean and walked that area a bit. There were these weird fountains that projected people's faces on then then mimicked them spitting water as the fountain. After downtown, we went to Wicker Park area and got some more coffee at Wormhole before getting cookies at Insomnia and then deep dish and super thin crust pizza from Giordano's to take back to Joseph and Yogi's for dinner and then went to bed.

Day three in Chicago

We started our last day by saying our sad goodbyes to our friends before heading out by ourselves today. First stop was coffee at Metric and it was really good, and the baristas were really nice.

After coffee we went down to Wicker Park area and got donuts at Stan's before walking the shops down there all day. And that's how we spent our last day in Chicago, just chillin.

Later in the afternoon we went to the Planet Fitness to shower then found a parking spot for the night.
